“What is a sick home or a building?”
The Problem:
Indoor Air Pollution
According to the Institute of Medicine of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, “Among the various health issues... the problem of indoor airborne allergens is one of the most serious. A high percentage of the population becomes sensitive to indoor allergens and suffers chronic or intermittent allergic desease. Most of the disease conditions can be classified as mild or moderate, but many are severe.”
If too little outdoor air enters a home, pollutants can accumulate to levels that can pose health and comfort problems. Unless they are built with special mechanical means of ventilation, homes that are designed and constructed to minimize the amount of outdoor air that can “leak” into and out of the home may haave higher pollutant levels than other homes. This is a “sick home.”
Over the past several decades, our exposure to indoor air pollutants is believed to have increased due to a variety of factors, including the construction of more tightly sealed buildings, reduced ventilation rates to save energy, the use of synthetic building materials and furnishings, and the use of chemically formulated personal care products, pesticides, and household cleaners. In recent years, comparative risk studies performed by EPA and its Science Advisory Board (SAB) have consistently ranked indoor air pollution among the top five environmental risks to public health.
THE SOLUTION – OZONE
Ozone is a pale blue unstable gas that is very active and has a characteristic penetrating scent, readily detectable at concentrations as low as 0.01 to 0.05 ppm. It is an unstable molecule consisting of 3 atoms; whereas normal oxygen has 2 atoms of oxygen. Because the ozone molecule is so unstable, it quickly breaks away from the other oxygen atoms. This lone ozone atom goes in search of other atoms. If it finds a carbon or sulphur molecule, it will break into that molecule destroying it in the process. Since all pollutants described are carbon based, OZONE is the answer.
“Ozone Shock Treatment” |
The procedure:
Trained Technicians place U.V. ozone generators in the area to be treated.
No people or pets alloed in the treated area.
Ozone levels will rise to an average of 5.0 ppm or more in a 4 to 8 h our treatment period.
Run furnace (if forced air heat) and fans to purify duct work at same time.
Using purging fans, ventilate premises to reduce ozone levels to below 0.03 ppm allowing re-occupation (approx. 30 minutes)
You will smell the difference clean air makes!

THE METHODOLOGY In the past all ozone was generated by a “ Corona ” effect. An electrical current is sent between two metal lates. This creates ozone as well as nitric oxide, a contaminant in itself and dangerous if not purged properly. OZONESHOCKERS use new technology ozone being delivered by ballast and lamps. OZONESHOCKERS has the only nitrogen oxide free generators available today, and delivers only pure, industrial strength clean ozone. “ Corona ” ozone is measured in milligrams. OZONESHOCKERS is measured in grams, a huge difference as ozone is 2000 times stronger than bleach as a disinfectant. Only with OZONESHOCKERS will you be assured that a quality and professional service is available for your health and environmental concerns. |
Methodology Technicians
Throughout the United States and Canada people are using the proven proprietary. OZONESHOCKERS system is to destroy odours, allergens, mould, and many other microbial and toxic contaminants in the growing problems of indoor air pollution.
Health experts estimate that 35 million Americans suffer from symptoms that are allergic reations to airborne allergens. The unique Methodology used by an OZONESHOCKERS service company provides a more healthy and cost effective solution to correct the indoor environment in homes, apartments, offices, RV's, boats, vehicles, meeting rooms, hospitals, day care centers and numerous other areas by using OZONESHOCEKRS clean ozone generators.
These proprietary ozone generators produce high levels of clean ozone (by Ultra Violet lamp production) to sanitize the indoor air, thereby destroying odours, allergens, viruses, bacteria, moulds, and many other airborne irritants.
The specialized Ultra Violet lamp clean ozone equipment is the ONLY ozone equipment used by OZONESHOCKERS, ensuring their customers will return to a cleaner indoor environment.
It is unfortunate that the most commonly used ozone generators produce ozone with a corona discharge. In turn, the use of this type of ozone generator produces a very toxic and harmful by-product called nitric oxide which adds to the indoor contamination and the degradation of materials. In essence, corona discharge ozone generators are, in reality, toxic generators and harmful to your health and well-being.
Everyone deserves to live in a healthy indoor environment.
If you are fortunate enough to have an OZONESHOCKERS service company in your area, then you have a “house doctor” on call. They will conduct a “house call” to determine what problems may exist in your indoor environment that may be contributing to health problems, then have the “medicine” you need to make a sick (contaminated) home (or apartment, office, etc.) well again.
Most technicians are also Certified Microbial Investigators (CMI). They have been trained to follow the proper industry standards and guidelines established by American Indoor Air Quality (AmIAQ), Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and Indoor Environment Standards Organization (IESO) for sample collection. Any samples taken are then sent to a fully accredited laboratory specializing in the analysis of mould, bacteria, allergens and chemicals.
The Nose Knows... if odours, allergens, viruses, bacteria, or any other airborne irritants are your problem... the OZONESHOCKERS service technician has the solution to eliminate them. It takes high levels of ozone to be effective against microbial contaminants, which is why this type of service can only be performed by trained technicians, following the proper safety protocols. No people, pets or plants may be present during the ozone treatment process. After a minimum of 4-5 hours (or more, depending on the severity of the indoor pollution) you will return to a clean, freshly restored healthy indoor environment.
It is important to have a company trained in ozone safety, taking care to monitor the levels during and after treatments, to ensure the ozone has returned to a safe level (0.05ppm or less), using an ozone monitor, for a safe re-entry. |
